If you are our customer, newsletter subscriber, or web site visitor, you are entrusting us with your personal information. We are responsible for their protection and security. Please be aware of the privacy policy and rights you have regarding the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

Who is the manager?

I am Ing. Miloš Sihelník – Chata pod Smrekom, ID 52141691 with registered office at M. Jankolu 9618/24, 036 01 Martin and I am running the website www.chatapodsmrekom.sk. I am active as a self employed engaged in rental, accommodation and related services. I process your personal data as an administrator, determine how personal data will be processed and for what purpose, how long, and how many additional processors will assist me with the processing.

Declaration

I declare that, as the administrator of your personal data, I fulfill all the legal obligations required by applicable law, in particular the Privacy Act and the GDPR, and that:

  • I will process your personal data only on the basis of valid legal grounds, in particular legitimate interest, performance of the contract, legal obligation or consent,
  • Perform an information obligation under Article 13 of the GDPR prior to the processing of personal data,
  • I will allow you and I will support you in the exercise and enforcement of your rights under the Personal Data Protection Act and the GDPR.

Scope of personal data and processing purposes

I process personal information you entrust to me for the following reasons (to fulfill these purposes):

Service provision and contract performance

  • Your personal data to the extent of: billing information, email, telephone, or correspondence address, we absolutely need to fulfill the contract and create the Residence Voucher.

Bookkeeping

  • If you are a customer, I need your personal information (billing information) to comply with the legal obligation to issue and record tax documents.

Marketing – sending newsletters

Your personal information (e-mail), what you are interesting on the website I use it for direct marketing – sending business notifications. If you are my customer, I do so for a legitimate interest because I reasonably believe that our news is interesting for you at least 5 years from the last order. If you are not our customer, we will send you the newsletters only at your consent for at least 5 years from the award.

I retain your personal information for the duration of the limitation period, unless the law provides for a longer period of time to preserve it or I have not, in some cases, provided otherwise.

Cookies

When browsing our website, I record your IP address, how long you stay on the page and from which site you come from. Using cookies to measure website traffic and customize your site view, I see your manager’s legitimate interest because we believe we can offer you even better service. Cookies for ad targeting will only be processed based on your consent. Our website may also be browsed in a mode that does not allow for the collection of personal data. You can disable cookies on your computer in an Internet browser.

Securing and protecting your personal information

I protect personal data to the maximum possible extent using modern technologies that correspond to the level of technical development. I protect them as if they were my own. I have accepted and maintained all possible (technically known) technical and organizational measures that prevent the misuse, damage or destruction of your personal data.

In order to provide some specific processing operations that we cannot provide ourselves with, we use the services and applications of processors who specialize in the processing and are in compliance with the GDPR. They are the creators of the following platforms and services:

Your rights in relation to the protection of personal data

You have the right for information that is already covered by this Privacy Policy. You can invite me at any time, with the right to access, and I will provide you within 30-day limit which personal data and why I process.

If anything changes or any of your personal information is out of date or incomplete, you have the right to supplement and change personal information.

You have the right to restrict your processing if you believe I am processing your inaccurate data, you think I am processing illegally, but you do not want to delete all the data or if you have objected to the processing.

You may limit the scope of personal data or processing purposes. (For example, by logging out of the newsletter, you limit the purpose of processing to send business notifications.)

Right to delete (to be forgotten)

Your next right is the right to delete (even if it is forgotten). I do not want to forget you, but if you wish, you have this right. In this case, I will delete all your personal data from my system and from the system of all partial processors and backups. We need 30 days to secure the right to erase.

In some cases, I am bound by a statutory duty, I have to register the issued tax documents after the deadline stipulated by the law. In this case, I will delete all personal data that is not bound by any other law. I will notify you by e-mail about the completion of the deletion.

Complaint to the Office for the Protection of Personal Data

If you feel that I do not treat your data legally, you have the right to refer your complaint at any time to the Privacy Office. I will be very pleased if you will inform me of this suspicion first, so I can do something about it and correct any mistakes.
