Chata pod Smrekom is situated in beautiful quiet environment of the cottage settlement, located in the outskirts of Martin and Vrútky. The excellent location of the cottage in the middle of Malá and Veľká Fatra mountain ranges, combined with its above standard equipment and secure accommodation comfort, is a guarantee of a holiday full of perfect peace and privacy but also active relaxation and sporting activities.

In the vicinity of the accommodation there are innumerable hiking trails and modified biking trails with splendid views of the Turčianska kotlina valley. You can also relax in the nearby aquaparks in Turčianske Teplice and Bešeňová. In the winter there are excellent conditions for winter sports. You can ski in Winterparks Martin, Jasenská or Valčianska Valley. You can enjoy cross-country skiing in Jedľoviny forest park.

All year round, we offer you a pleasant accommodation in a stylish separate chalet, which is adapted for comfortable accommodation of up to 16 people. In the cottage there are 5 bedrooms, one double-bed room, two more three-bed rooms and two larger four-bed rooms. There are two social rooms with a seating area where there is also indoor hot-air fireplace, snooker table, table football (soccer), darts, satellite TV, DVD player and radio with CD player. To prepare delicious home-made meals, you can enjoy a fully-equipped kitchen with a dining area. There are two bathrooms with shower and toilet. The heating of the cottage is done by electric heating in combination with a hot-air fireplace.

In the cottage on the fenced plot of about 1000 square meters there is a perfect gazebo with garden fireplace and outdoor seating, playground, table tennis table, sandpit and children’s pool, football gates. There is also a grill and a goulash kettle. In summer, it is possible to rent a mountain bike. Car parking is provided on the enclosed parking place of the cottage where you can use 4 parking spaces.

The complex also offers wellness facilities such as an outdoor swimming pool with heated water, a whirlpool, an outdoor Finnish sauna with a cooling pool, an indoor infra sauna and a Canadian wooden cabin.
